This timeline was designed as a guide for a "Timeline of Rum History"  wall  adorned with historical rum-centric pictures at Sidecar Cocktail Lounge - the International Headquarters of the Royal Rum Society located in Midlothian, VA USA. 

It is not intended to portray a full, in-depth history of rum or sugar cane spirits, but just to give a glimpse to customers at the lounge into the fascinating world of rum.
